Boy, have the Jungle Drums been busy beating out a lot of new Jungle and Disney news. This episode we are joined by Skipper Danielle Ernest, one of the Darlings of the DisneyDarlings.net website. Danielle has an amazing social media following, and she helps us make sense of the D23 Expo, as we discuss Star Wars Land, the Jungle Cruise movie, and other theme park developments. Skipper Danielle was a recent Skipper, and had a very short time in the jungle, but this lady is a Skipper, through and through, and I really loved chatting with her. We flipped the script this week, and we’re going to be doing our normal “Skipper” interview with Danielle in 2 weeks. So stay tuned for that.

Hey Adventurers! D23 Expo is come and gone, and the number of announcements was incredible. But mostly... STAR WARS LAND! (Opening in 2021 or some crazy thing like that.) As usual, we're dusting off an oldie-but-goodie for you guys in our off week. This one was from 2 years ago, at the 951/956 Westside Attractions Reunion. We chat with Skippers Phil, Cisco, and Chiefie. Lots of fun stories in a fun environment, as we get back into the 80's and 90's!

Hey there, Adventurers! Today is a really great day in the history of our little community podcast. We welcome to the show our first bona fide "Disney Legend", Mr William "Sully" Sullivan. He was a member of the 1955 first year Skippers at Disneyland, and his 38 year storied career took him to every level and location of the company. On top of that, he's a charming guy who was a pleasure to chat with. We chat Walt, his time at the Jungle, the Squaw Valley Olympics, the 1964 Worlds Fair, and the birth of Magic Kingdom and Epcot. It's a fascinating travel to the early years of Disney, and we are thrilled to bring it to you.Thanks so much to David Marley for connecting me to this great Skip, and we're looking at even more exciting interviews soon...

We gave you the middle part of our trip back in time last week, and this week we bring you the third part of our chat from last year. The lovely Sue B makes her second appearance on the podcast, and we get to chat with the incredibly wonderful John Malloy. This episode has one of my absolutely favorite dirty stories I have ever heard from a CM, and it turns into a devolved round table with a lot of Skips coming in and telling their stories. We're not dipping very far back into the vault for this one, but this episode from last April is very short on the listens it deserves. Skippers Jerry Whitfield and Jimm Vest met up with us at a Skipper gathering at a very wonderful Skip's South OC house. It was my first time meeting both of these fine gentlemen, and I really enjoyed the opportunity. We get into the history of the early 80's to the mid 90's at Disneyland, and it is a fine exploration. So, the clock keeps turning, and our fourth year of Skippertainment comes to a close. We had such an amazing year with you all, and our 5th season looks to be even better. New podcasts, new guests, new t-shirts, and some amazing surprises. Thanks, everyone for joining us on this ride.In this week's episode, we sit down and chat with our very own Skipperette Jen Chavez. Jen is our content manager for our Facebook page, and she does an amazing job. Her tale at Jungle has some fun twists and turns, and her views on vintage Disney are great.
