Aloha from Hawaii! Here's a late rerun for the week. I'm on Island Time, so my schedule has been dependent on my WiFi availability.
Skipper Mike Robles is no stranger to our podcast. 6 years ago he joined us for our 10th episode, and has appeared on the podcast more than any other Skipper. Mike is now married, has a son, and is a social media influencer in the world of card games and online nerdery in general. This episode has been unavailable on the RSS feed for over 2 years, so I thought it was time to bump it back up.

Hey there, Adventurers!
I'm off soaking in the Aloha in Hawaii right now, and we're going to be on break for a few weeks. But we're still bringing you some of the older episodes that were "lost" in our podcast feeds. Some of these haven't been on the servers for up to 2 years!
This week we go back to 2011 and our first chat with Skipper James Greathouse. We had just started broadening our guest list from people I had worked with to other Skippers, and James was eager to tell his stories. I had a great time chatting with him, and am glad that 6 years later this episode shows a lot of the "voice" of the podcast that we'd be eventually going for.

Happy Tuesday, Adventurers!
So, if you have been around the podcast for any length of time, you know we run into these "lulls" where we have a hard time lining up guests for the show. I'm working on a few for the future, but I am also going on vacation from April 23rd to May 7th. I'll be putting up reruns for the next 3 weeks, and working to get new episodes up as soon as possible.
I hope everyone is enjoying the Jungle Cruise movie news... I personally think Dwayne is a great choice for the lead of this movie, and some of my 'backstage magic" details that I know have made me very hopeful for the film. We have 2 more years to wait, but we'll keep you up to date on all the details as we learn them.

Hey Adventurers!
No new episode this week... We're still working on lining up guests, and that can always be a bit of a challenge. I have a few things in the works, so bear with us.
This week we're putting back up some of the "lost" first season episodes that disappeared off our podcast feeds and servers. This was our 4th episode, all the way back in 2011. Skipper Joey and Skipper Trevor were part of the reason I even thought about doing the podcast thing, as they are the Statler and Waldorf of the Jungle Cruise. This episode is a lot more free-form and comedy based than story based, but we had a great time chatting, and it's a good throw-back to the days that these guys had their own show.

So, this episode was our third published episode, and was still very early on as we were figuring things out. But, I realized that it has been off the RSS feed for about 2 years, and a lot of people may not have heard this episode. This goes all the way back to 2011, and Skipper Dave Casella. I adored working with Dave, and I think everyone on the docks felt the same way that I did. We were still getting our feet under us, and learning some of the technical aspects of the podcast, but I think the episode holds up. (and there's some great modern Jungle stories and history in it.)
We do apologize to everyone whose RSS feed got spammed last week with dozens of downloads of old shows. It was a technical problem on our podcast host's side, not ours, and I am sorry if it was an inconvenience for you. We live in the future, and the robot overlords sometimes make mistakes.

It's the end of an Era on the Jungle Cruise. Skipper Kipp Hart has left the river after 13 years back and forth with the company. But, that sadness is our benefit, as we are now able to welcome Kipp back to the show to take a more intimate look at his time with the company, his rise as a stand up comedian, and what wisdom he has to impart to the next generation of Jungle Skippers.
Kipp also shares great stories of Skippers he has worked with, as well as a great Jason Alexander and a fun Chris Hardwick story. Definitely a must-listen episode!

Well, it had to happen some time. The legend himself, Kipp Hart has left the Jungle Cruise at Disneyland for adventures in the real world. So, we go all the way back to the second season and 4 years ago for our chat with Kipp on the show. (Back when he only had one P and was just Kip.) We are joined by Skipper Rex as well, as we fought against loud background music and bizarre things happening in the background.
I am headed to Seattle for a bit of an unexpected situation, so we may be off for next week's new episode slot. If so, I'll just put up the second half of this episode.
