So, I make no bones about it... Joey Hurley and Trevor Kelly are two of the coolest cats I know. I find excuses to hang out with them, and to listen to their excellent Podcast, "Joey and Trevor Talk To Each Other", also hosted here on Podbean. So, it's no surprise that a year after we sat down for the first time, we're chatting again. This time about the synergy of the SkipCast brand, and other random Disney things.
So, technically this episode doesn't really have a lot of Jungle stuff in it. Heck, there's not even a ton of Disney related discussion. Still, we get to that in the second half of the episode where we chat with some more skippers, and Joey and Trev hang out for a while. Still, we had a fun time taping, and we hope you enjoy as well.
Oh, and this one definitely has an EXPLICIT tag on it, so no kids allowed. Also, remember to shoot us an EMail at JungleCrews@gmail.com, or visit us at Facebook.com/JungleCrews. We love doing this, hope you guys can keep on supporting us and sharing us with friends.

Greetings out there in the internet adventure lands, to all you skips and skipettes. Welcome back to Tales from the Jungle Crews...
So, one of the joys of a hobby is when you have all kinds of fun things that crop up in your, shall we call it, "Real life", that things get to take a back-seat. I apologize to all of you that it's taken 2 months to get this episode up. One of the many lessons I have learned over the last year is that Skippers are hard to pin down to an actual time, even when there is alcohol involved. I'm working on getting more interviews lined up.
So, if you were a Jungle Cruise skipper, or know a jungle cruise skipper, who wants to sit down and tell your stories, we'd love to have you. I also should have the phone recording system set up in the next week, so we are going to try that as well.
This episode was recorded at our 1 year anniversary SkipGather in August. Now, the SkipGather was this thing where we'd hang out at trader sam's, and any skippers who showed up would just randomly record episodes with us. It was a lot of fun, and we're looking at doing more in the future.
This episode, as about half of our episodes are, is not suited for the little skips in the audience. We may hit on a few adult tones, so, be warned. THis one has the explicit tag on it, but it's a lot of fun. I got to hang out with a few of my favorite people this night, and had a great time reminiscing about how I first reminisced about doing the podcast. It's been over a year, we've had nearly 60k downloads between all of our podcasts, and we've loved bringing this to you. I'm hoping for new episodes soon, so please keep passing the info along to your friends. SkipCast on itunes.
So, without further ado, we go back in time... to August. And we join our recording already in progress

Man, that episode title is getting LONGER and LONGER!
Welcome back everyone. The Jungle Crews Radio Play is back! Episode 5, the Doom with a Pinata Tattoo.
This episode features Trevor Kelly as the fearless explorer Gary London, Joey Hurley as his sidekick Skippy, Jay Sabicer as Bob Smith, and a special thank you to Patrick Hall as "Harold The Yeti"... (We're excited about the Yeti cameo in this one.)
This episode was recorded in the middle of a fireworks show, literally, so there's some weird noises in there. But we can just pretend it was Jungle noises.
This Wednesday is the next SkipGather and 1 year Skip-niversary at Trader Sam's... August 8th, at 7pm. Join us for shenanagans.
Enjoy, and shoot us a message if you love the episode.

Hey Skip-friends... Welcome back to Tales From The Jungle Crews...
This week we're doing something a little different. As many of you may, or may not know, this podcast isn't our only endeavor. Under the name "Skip Cast Networks", we actually produce and promote 4 different podcasts. The tie in is that they are all produced by skippers and have that skipper-centric view of life. The first two are the TFJC and JCRP, the radio play following the adventures of Gary London, Skipper Esquire.
Secondly is the newly blossomed Nerd 101. We take a 20 minute slice of a Nerd culture topic and explain it to the non-nerd. If you want to know the nuts and bolts about the Zombie phenomenon, or Firefly, or Doctor Who, we're the place to explain the basics to you. You can find that podcast on iTunes, under either Nerd101 or Skipcast.
But the other podcast we really love is by our friends Trevor Kelly and Joey Hurley. I worked with both these cats back on the river, and I am proud to say we've become friends over the years. Their podcast, Joey and Trevor Talk To Each Other has become a breakout on iTunes, making it onto the New and Noteworthy section. Usually they just talk random, and quite funny stuff, but this week they sat down with Skipper Kip from the Jungle Cruise, and the results were really great. It actually felt more like a TFJC episode, so I asked the guys if I could rebroadcast it so you all could hear it.
If you like the Joey and Trevor magic, find them on Facebook at Facebook.com/JoeyAndTrevor, or search Joey and Trevor on iTunes.
As always, please find us on Twitter, @Skipcast. Also, some of you may have noticed we were gone for a week, and that is because our bandwidth charges have gone through the roof. We tripled our audience in July, and we're hitting nearly 4000 downloads a month. I waited as long as i could before doing this, but I put up a PayPal donation button on the page at JungleCrews.Podbean.com. If you love the show, and want to help me defer some of the costs, I'd love the help. As of last week we had 20,000 downloads in just about a year, and that's pretty damn special.
Ok, here we go... Joey and Trevor Talk to each other... a Very Special Episode of TFJC.

Hey everyone, welcome to June's Tales From The Jungle Crews. I'm still working on more than one "serious" episode per month, but it's been a little challenging. (and maybe at some point I can quit making excuses for how hard it is to do this project while I have 2 full time jobs)
This month, we chat with Skippers Scott Kelly and Jacob Caputo. Two men enter the cage, but three come out. Not exactly sure how that worked. But it was fun catching up with an old friend, even if I did show up an hour late to the taping because I was having my tires vulcanized.
Enjoy, Radio Play goodness in less than a week...

For this episode, we go back in time 3 more years from the 87 years are are already traveling back in time. We get to learn how Skipper Gary London met the lovely Kitty Caruthers. Action, adventure, amazement, and a few movie references that might get us sued. (Sorry, Mr Speilberg)

David Koenig's Pool Party; S02 E02

Wednesday May 16, 2012
So, I've been working on this one for months, and boy is it a doozie. David Koenig is the author of the wildly successful "Mouse Tales" series, and has become a defacto historian of the "Backstage Magic" that has happened at Disneyland since the beginning. He has interviewed hundreds and hundreds of cast and ex-cast members, and has helped shepherd some of the internet media that has helped define how we talk about Disneyland. We originally tried to schedule this episode way back in October, and I am glad that it happened the way it has, because it is an exceptional hour that I got to spend with him.
New episodes of the Jungle Crews Radio Play are up next, and we've got more great interviews coming in the months ahead. If you liked us, please pass us along to your friends. If you hated us, please pass us along to your enemies, because maybe they would like us.
Check us out at Facebook.com/SkipCastNetworks, or on Twitter @SkipCast.
