Better late than never... Here's Episode 6 of Tales From The Jungle Cruise. Skipper Chris Ramirez, Chris Hames, and myself perform a 40 minute musical tribute to the Jungle Cruise called "Chrisstravaganza"...
(Actually, there's not really any singing... sorry.)
Join us on Twitter, we're @SkipCast. Some Podcast news, but mostly just my general somewhat comedic ramblings.

So, I apologize for the Interwebs. Sometimes it just doesn't understand that I am trying to put up a quasi-semi-professional podcast up on a semi-quasi-regular schedule...
This is part two of Skippers Trevor and Joey, and much like the first half it has the iTunes "explicit" tag attached to it. Just be aware this might be a good kiddie free episode.
We're on Twitster, or whatever it is called. Just follow us at @SkipCast and I promise to bake each and every one of you rice krispie treats.
Thanks for all the great support and promoting us to your friends. Drop us a line at JungleCrews@gmail.com, and let me know if you want to sit down and tell your Jungle Stories. Or just record a couple short stories in .WAV format and email them to me. I'll work on using them in upcoming episodes.
So here we go, just click already. And yes, the Aladdin's Oasis story is forthcoming in this episode.

Episode 4: Blue Monday

So here we go, the long awaited premiere of Skipper Trevor and Skipper Joey, live in front of the SkipCast microphone. (Grammatically I know it is "Microphones", but I only have one. It's a really nice one, though.) We had a lovely chance to sit down on an anonymous piece of grass and chat about their path to (and from) Jungle, and some of the fun they have had after.
I cover this in the podcast intro, but this episode is a bit more "adult", so no kiddies should be listening, ok? Skippers are known for their ribald humor, and their use of archaic terms like "ribald", and this time we get a little more loose with the "Disney Spirit". Actually, it may sound like we drank too many "Disney Spirits", but in fact it was just the drinks at Trader Sam's, which may or may not have any alcohol in them.
So, keep the faith, Internet Adventurers, and let your friends know about the podcast. We keep growing by leaps and bounds, and we will hit our first 1000 downloads sometime next week. (if you include iTunes.)
Thanks everyone, and Kungaloosh!

So, here we are... Week 3. Skipper Dave Casella joins us to share his experiences in Orlando, Jungle, the real Jungle, some more Jungle, and then some fun and hi-jinx. Thanks for catching those spears for this double length episode, and we'll be back to our regular format on September 23rd.
Keep sharing the Facebook links at Facebook.com/JungleCrews, and now you're aaaalllllllllll clear!

Greetings out there in Internet Land, and Kungaloosh to all of you Adventurers... This is the second half of our Podcast with Skippers Benny and Kaz. So, a few things here. First of all, we have just moved from where we taped the first half of the Podcast, and there is a big exhaust fan that I didn't think would be as loud in the taping as it is. So, chalk it up to inexperience, and I'm sorry. We edited it down, and it is better than it was. Secondly, we had about a minute that didn't get recorded that we thought had, so here's the set up... We had just started a discussion about 9/11, and about the way that Disneyland reacted to the attacks, both on an operational and emotional level. That kind of sets it up for Episode Two, which I am calling Cher and Cher alike... or The Family that Jokes Together, Sticks Together.
I am working on booking more episodes, and have 5 different potential tapings I am juggling. I am hoping to have another one up next week, but 2 weeks would be worst-case scenario. Thanks for listening, and I promise the audio quality will get better from here on out. I learned a LOT in the last 2 weeks. Spread this around to your Disney friends, and I hope you are having as much fun with this as I am...

Episode 1: Murder On The River

Thursday Aug 25, 2011
Well, here we go folks! Kungaloosh, and welcome to Episode 1 of the Tales From The Jungle Crews, what I hope will be the first of many podcasts here on the SkipCast Network.
This first Episode features two of our favorite skippers, Skipper Kaz and Skipper Benny. We wanted to sit down with Benny before he left California, and this was a perfect opportunity to launch our new podcast. This episode is split into 2 parts because of length, and some editing/sound issues.
We're hoping this will be the first of very very many podcasts, and will give us a chance to all figure out what it is that makes our favorite little boat ride the most Special Part of the Happiest Place On Earth.
